UNRA Closes Offices as Covid19 Cases Increase

The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has  decided to temporarily close its head offices in Nakawa after two of its employees tested positive.

The cases are part of the 107 samples taken on Wednesday 26th August 2020.

Last week, a number of cases were confirmed at the same offices. The  management took steps to protect other employees, sending others to quarantine. It, however, remained operational until two more tested positive.

“Upon confirmation of the confirmed cases, Management, together with the Ministry of Health embark on the respective incident management protocols and the much-needed health support system that includes psychosocial services to our affected members of staff under medical care,” UNRA said in a statement. It is not the first office to close temporarily
