Viewers on DStv and GOtv can look forward to thrills and spills from the world’s best basketball league, with ESPN and ESPN 2 the premier venues for coverage of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The 2022-23 season will continue through the week of Friday 10  to Thursday 16 February 2023.

DStv and GOtv is your home of the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network.

The first live ESPN game of the week arrives on the morning of Friday 10 February, as the Brooklyn Nets welcome the Chicago Bulls to the Barclays Center (02:30 LIVE on ESPN 2).

Royce O’Neale has noted how the Nets’ players have stepped up in an injury crisis, which included the side-lining of star man Kevin Durant: “It’s a lot of confidence going around, everybody’s taking the challenge, stepping up, finding out ways to win games.”

The morning of Saturday 11 February sees the Houston Rockets head to Florida to take on the Miami Heat (03:00 LIVE on ESPN 2), before the Los Angeles Clippers welcome the Milwaukee Bucks to the Crypto.com Arena in the ‘City of Angels’ (05:30 LIVE on ESPN 2).

The Clippers will be hoping they can call on the star duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, with coach Tyronn Lue noting, “When our two main guys are playing, we’re a different team.”

As for the Heat, centre Bam Adebayo believes Miami “are a hard team to beat […] when we get stops and run in transition”.

The final game of the weekend pits the Boston Celtics against the Memphis Grizzlies at the TD Garden on the evening of Sunday 12 February (21:00 LIVE on ESPN 2).

Celtics star Jaylen Brown recently praised the depth of their roster, as they look to make a run for the Championship: “To win in the NBA is hard enough, to win on the road down a bunch of guys is hard to do,” Brown explained.

“You don’t want to take it for granted, but we definitely have enough on this team, enough in this locker room, to win games whoever is on the floor.”
