Finance Minister Matia Kasaija has replaced National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Deputy Managing Director Geraldine Ssali Busuulwa with Patrick Ayota, who has been the NSSF Chief Finance Officer.
Minister Kasaija was asked by the NSSF Board of directors in September thi years not the renew Ssali’s contract which expires on 29th October 2017.
Patrick Ayota is expected to assume office on October 30th.
It will be remembered that Ssali had appealed to Kasaija to renew her expiring contract, against the advice of NSSF Board and her boss.
This website has learnt that NSSF Executive Director Richard Byarugaba has been renewed.
Geraldine Ssali Busuulwa, 41, was appointed NSSF Deputy MD by former Minister of Finance in 2017.
Her contract was renewed for another three years in 2014.
