PHOTOS: What You Missed at Blankets and Wine’s Kampala 16th Edition

City celebrities and ordinary party-goers on Sunday (April 30th, 2017) stormed Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala to attend the 16th Edition of Blankets and Wine.

Revelers started arriving at the venue by 3:00PM to be part of what is described as Kampala’s biggest social event.

The Tusker Malt sponsored event was attended by several celebrities including; singers; Levixone, Hellen Lukoma, A Pass, rapper The Mith, Keko and socialites like Rich Gang’s Ivan Semwanga and Ed Cheune, former Miss Uganda Stella Nantumbwe aka Ellah among others.

Musicians including rapper Byg Ben, Apio Moro, Pelinda and Afrie among others thrilled the crowd with powerful music performances before Afrigo Band stepped on stage and took the crowd through their classic hits.

DJ Rachael would later entertain the crowd, playing wonderful music as she mixed old classic hits and the latest jams.

Popular Ugandan female ragga-dancehall singer, Cindy Sanyu was the last to step on stage.

Cindy who was accompanied by her band, put up an energetic performance amidst cheers from the crowd. She performed many of her hit songs including, “Ayokyayokya”, “Amateeka”, “Dilema”, “Still Standing” and the recent “Run This City” among others.
