Popular Ugandan rapper Daniel Kigozi, better known by his stage name Navio has revealed intentions to join Ugandan politics as a Member of Parliament.

The “Njogereza” hit maker revealed via Social Media platform Instagram that he will be contesting as Member of Parliament for Rubaga in the 2021 Uganda general elections

Navio posted a photo of himself with newly elected Kyadondo East MP and singer Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine with a caption, “MCs to MPs. RUBAGA 2021.”

If he goes ahead with his ambitions, Navio will be joining Ugandan entertainers including singers Judith Babirye, Bobi Wine and comedian Kato Lubwama among others that have joined politics.
