Airtel Uganda Opens New Service Centers

Following successful network expansion and countrywide broadband availability campaigns, Airtel Uganda has announced a new plan to expand their footprint across Uganda in a bid to continue providing excellent one-on-one customer care experiences to subscribers.

This announcement was made during a press conference at the new premium shop in Ndeeba on Wednesday.

In attendance was the Airtel Uganda team led by Ms. Dorothy Kyeyune, the Service Experience Lead as well as Rubaga Division community leaders including; Deputy Mayor of Rubaga Division,  Omulangira Asuman Ntale; and the three Local Council 5 chairpersons from Rubaga Division; Hajji Kibirige, Nakabugo Faridah and Damba Ismail.

According to Ms. Kyeyune, “Having successfully expanded our network to reach even the most remote areas of Uganda through increased network masts and more reliable network connectivity, we now feel that it is important to enhance the customer experience by ensuring our physical presence in as many areas as possible.”

“These 18 premium shops will further strengthen our footprint in Uganda by supplementing on our already existing kiosks, mini shops, distributor locations and super agencies,” she added.

In the past, Airtel Uganda has opened premium shops in Entebbe, Gulu, Lira, Kabale, Soroti, Jinja, FortPortal, Mbale, Mbarara andArua districts.

 

The telecom operator further embarked on the same road to customer satisfaction and opened premium shops in Mityana district as well as New Park and Ntinda in Kampala district.

The new shops will be found in central and accessible locations with convenient opening hours and superior merchandise.

They will act as a one-stop center for Airtel service solutions such as SIM card purchases and registrations, Airtel Money, e-recharge and data connectivity.

The shops will also have experienced staff in place for consultations on all Airtel’s offerings.
