Uganda’s Covid19 Death Toll Hits 15

Uganda’s Covid-19 death toll has hit 15, the Ministry of Health has announced.

According to a statement by the Ministry, “The two are both Uganda males aged 63 and 33 years old.”

The two had been admitted at Rubaga hospital with signs and symptoms consistent with Covid19.”

With the growing number of deaths, there is talk of another lockdown. Ugandans have been faulted for being complacent as regard to respecting the Covid-19 prevention guidelines.

On Sunday, the country registered 60 new cases of coronavirus, the biggest number recorded in day since the first case was registered in March.
