President Yoweri Museveni has directed that former Democratic Party (DP) chairman Boniface Byanyima be accorded a state burial.
Byanyima, father to Oxfam executive director Winnie Byanyima and father-in-law to opposition kingpin Dr Kizza Besigye, died on May 16, aged 97.
