State Minister for ICT and Kayunga District Woman Member of Parliament Idah Erios Nantaba has Sunday morning paid a visit to Mityana Municipality MP Francis Zaake at Rubaga Hospital.

Zaake has been admitted at Rubaga hospital since Friday after he was allegedly dumped at the gate by security operatives.

The legislator was arrested and tortured by Special Forces Command on Monday night following a scuffle in Arua town where President Museveni’s car was vandalized and singer Bobi Wine’s driver shot dead.

He was transferred to Gulu, from where graphic images showing his state were leaked.

Nantaba becomes the first legislator from the ruling party to pay a visit to the ailing MP who has been on life support.

Nantaba is also a known close confidant of President Museveni.

Reports from Rubaga further say that Zaake is off life support despite being feared dead, a report that sparked off riots in Mityaana.
